The staff at Alden Estates of Evanston is celebrating – U.S. News & World Report has ranked the short term rehabilitation center as one of its 2014 ‘best’ facilities in the nation for the third consecutive year.
“I have to credit our incredible staff for all they do to provide exceptional patient care,” says Kaity Crist, administrator. “Our nurses are truly extraordinary in meeting our patients’ needs.”
Nearby Alden Estates of Skokie, which specializes in short term orthopedic recovery, also celebrates another year ranked as ‘the best of the best’ by U.S. News & World Report. The two facilities, which are merely two blocks apart, work together closely to deliver the same level of patient care and excellent customer service. In fact, Crist worked at Alden Estates of Skokie and trained under Administrator Lindsay McKenzie before taking the leadership role at the newly renovated Alden Estates of Evanston.
Alden Estates of Evanston and Alden Estates of Skokie received five stars based on health inspections, nurse staffing and quality of care. U.S. News & World Report ranks and displays data for nearly every U.S. nursing facility. The ‘2014 Best’ profiles and ranks facilities using data and quality ratings from the federal government, recognizing those facilities that provide five-star care.
“This has already been an incredible year, first with our major top to bottom renovation and now with this recognition from U.S. News ,” says Crist.
